Accessibility Statement
Last reviewed: April 13, 2026
EverSpring is committed to ensuring that our website, everspring.care, is accessible to all users, including individuals with disabilities. We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.
Our Commitment
We serve individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) through our partner agencies. Accessibility is not an afterthought — it is central to who we are and why we exist. We design our interfaces to be usable by people with visual, motor, auditory, and cognitive differences.
Current Measures
- Semantic HTML structure with proper heading hierarchy.
- All interactive elements are keyboard navigable (Tab, Enter, Space).
- Color contrast ratios meet or exceed WCAG 2.1 AA requirements.
- All form inputs have associated labels; required fields are clearly marked.
- Images and icon-only buttons have descriptive alternative text or ARIA labels.
- Text can be resized up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.
- The site uses a logical tab order and visible focus indicators.
Known Limitations
The interactive demo portal at /demo is an illustrative simulation and may have accessibility gaps in its telehealth simulation components. It is not used for actual patient care. We are working to improve the accessibility of all interactive features.
Standards We Target
We aim to conform to WCAG 2.1, Level AA. Our technology stack (Next.js with semantic HTML and Tailwind CSS) supports accessible output when used correctly. We conduct periodic manual reviews and testing with screen readers (VoiceOver, NVDA).
