Care Shouldn't End When the Telehealth Visit Does

Today's IDD telehealth stops at the prescription. Your staff is left coordinating the rest. It doesn't have to be this way.

Picture This: It's Tuesday Morning

A staff member notices a resident's skin rash is getting worse. With a regular telehealth provider, your team calls the doctor, then calls the pharmacy, then waits for prior auth, then arranges a pickup. With EverSpring, your team makes one call — and the medication is at the door before the shift ends.

One call. Visit, prescription, and delivery — handled.

And When It's 2 AM? We're Still There.

A resident is in distress at 2 AM. The telehealth provider writes a prescription. Now what? Your staff calls CVS — closed. Tries Walgreens — 30-minute hold. The medication your resident needs right now is sitting in a system that can't deliver it.

With EverSpring, that script is filled and on its way to your door — your staff didn't make a single pharmacy call.

Routing Failures

Telehealth scripts sent to the wrong pharmacy, causing critical medication delays that leave residents waiting — sometimes for hours.

After-Hours Gaps

Prescriptions written overnight that can't be filled until morning. Residents suffer through the night because the pharmacy isn't open.

Manual Coordination

Your staff juggling separate calls to telehealth, pharmacy, and eMAR systems. Every handoff is a chance for something to fall through the cracks.

Costly Staffing Burden

Every ER trip pulls a qualified driver off shift, leaves the home short, or empties it entirely. Coverage backfill, lost workshop days, and overtime turn one Tuesday afternoon into a budget item.

Sound Familiar?

  • Someone on your team spent 45 minutes on hold with the pharmacy about a prior auth — during a med pass.
  • A routine medication change took three days and four phone calls to get filled and delivered.
  • The telehealth provider wrote a prescription to a pharmacy 40 minutes away that closes in 20 minutes.
  • You got an incident report this morning because a medication was 6 hours late — not because anyone did anything wrong, but because the system failed.
  • Your staff is on hold with the pharmacy at midnight while a resident is in pain in the next room.
  • Your staff spent more time coordinating medication last night than caring for the person who needed it.

These aren't edge cases. They're Tuesday.

Not All Telehealth Ends at the Prescription. Ours Starts There.

Value to Your Homes

What changes for your staff and residents.

No Cost to Your Agency

Telehealth visits are billed directly to the resident's Medicare or Medicaid insurance. Your agency pays nothing.

Freed-Up Staff Time

Our nurse triage line handles calls day and night — so your team focuses on direct care, not pharmacy coordination.

Works With Your Existing Care Team

We're your pharmacy, not a competing medical group. No friction with existing medical directors or PCPs.

Home Health Synergy

Telehealth visits can satisfy face-to-face requirements for home health orders — no transporting residents to a clinic just to get an order signed.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about getting started.

EverSpring Pharmacy is licensed in more than 40 states, including Illinois and Missouri where we've piloted. Our clinicians hold licenses in the states where we currently accept patients. Physician licensure is state-by-state by law, so telehealth availability depends on where your residents live — contact us and we'll confirm for your specific state.

There is no cost to your agency. Telehealth visits are billed directly to the resident's Medicare or Medicaid insurance. EverSpring Care is available to EverSpring Pharmacy partners as part of the integrated care relationship.

Yes. Telehealth visits are billed to Medicare or Medicaid. EverSpring Pharmacy is credentialed with Medicaid plans in Illinois and Missouri, with additional states in progress.

EverSpring Care is built on the EverSpring Pharmacy relationship — that's what makes the integrated model work. If you're not yet an EverSpring Pharmacy partner, we'll work with you on a smooth transition. Many agencies start with urgent and after-hours coverage and expand from there.

If your current telehealth provider writes prescriptions but doesn't fill or deliver them, your staff still carries the coordination burden after every visit. EverSpring eliminates that entirely. Many of our partners started by adding EverSpring alongside their existing provider for after-hours coverage — and switched fully once they experienced the difference.

Most group homes are fully operational within two weeks. We handle credentialing, staff onboarding, and pharmacy setup so your team can start using the service with minimal disruption.

Minimal. If your staff can make a phone call, they can use EverSpring. We provide a short orientation session and a simple quick-reference card, but the system is designed to be intuitive from day one.

We obtain consent for telehealth services from each resident's guardian or authorized representative during onboarding — before the first visit ever happens. New residents are covered at move-in. That way, when your staff calls at 2 AM, there's no delay waiting for guardian authorization. Your residents are already covered.

EverSpring's telehealth service launched in 2026 — but we're not starting from scratch. We're built on EverSpring Pharmacy's 18 years of experience serving IDD communities across 12 states. The pharmacy, the pharmacists, the delivery infrastructure, the strip packaging — all of that is proven. What's new is the integrated telehealth layer that connects clinician care directly to pharmacy fulfillment.

What If One Call Handled Everything?

Right now, your staff juggles calls to the doctor, the pharmacy, and the delivery service. With EverSpring, they make one call — and the visit, the prescription, and the delivery are all handled.
